I successfully defended my thesis in May 2012 and joined Qualcomm as a Senior Engineer on the ARM compiler team. I work on the LLVM compiler to implement optimizations to showcase the benefits of Qualcomm's snapdragon mobile processor.

Previously

I was a PhD student in the CS department at Rice University. I was advised by Keith Cooper and worked closely with many members of the Habanero team, lead by Vivek Sarkar. My research interests include compilers, runtimes, and programming models for functional programming languages running on modern multi-core computers. My PhD reasearch involved trace-based optimizations for the lazy functional programming language Haskell.
